Minimal Stress Wedding Services on the Sunshine Coast

When we had planned our wedding we wish we had met these ladies and used their services.

Wild Heart Weddings would have made our wedding planning a breeze whilst we were both working full time and our lovely and supportive parents ran around checking out venues, caterers etc etc for us (you know the long list of wedding preparations and things to do that doesn’t seem to end). Bless their souls.

Emma from Wild Heart Weddings has all the information you need for a well run, organised and minimal stress wedding on the Sunshine Coast. She knows things about the coast and it’s suppliers that will save you many hours of searching on your own.

We also had quite a few nieces and nephews attend our wedding. Coming from a family of 5 and my husband from a family of 7. The children did their best to entertain themselves with the ribbons off the favour boxes and guessing what colour clinker they were going to get next. Miss Poppins Nanny & Babysitting Agency would have made the wedding a big hit with the kids and our family from the stress of keeping the kiddies entertained.

Wedding Venues on the Sunshine Coast

At the Wedding Fair we had two gorgeous venues on display. One was The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast and the other was The Chapel Woombye where the event was held.

The A Darling Affair team has worked with both locations doing stunning styled promo shoots and we love their uniqueness and nooks and cranny’s that gives you amazing backdrops for your wedding day photo’s. When Elephant Met Zebra did our last promo shoot at The Chapel and took these gorgeous pictures below.

If you were at our recent Sunshine Coast Fair then you would have noticed that beautiful fresh scent wafting through the chapel, the hall and the marquee. You can thank our incredibly talented florists for creating that gorgeous smelling atmosphere on the day. These guys are up before the sun most days at flower markets selecting the best of the best to make sure their Brides are receiving top quality flowers and a big bang for their buck. Personally speaking, flowers were my big splurge for our wedding… I justified that by telling my husband-to-be that this would be our only wedding and the one day of my life that I am allowed to go a bit berserk with flowers, it was my one chance to fill our entire house for the week following with amazing, beautiful smelling flowers that made me happy every time I looked at them. It worked and I got to fill up our wedding (and house) with flowers. I can still remember the smell.

If you need a florist then PLEASE just book one of these guys. You will be amazed with their creative flair and attention to detail. We love them and we know you will too.

There are SO many options out there these days when it comes to styling your wedding. Gone are the days of chair covers and sashes and mirror base decorations (phew!). The sky is the limit these days and you are only restricted by your imagination. Stylists today are creative and passionate about making your wedding day a reflection of who you are as a couple… you can incorporate your interests into your styling and give your guests a little insight into the life of you and your brand spanking new official partner in life and crime.

It will probably be no surprise when we tell you that Brian from When Elephant Met Zebra is probably our most favourite photographer who ever walked the earth (we know that’s a big call.. but seriously… have you seen this guys work!?). He photographed one of our Darling’s (Emma & Riley) weddings earlier this year and he’s been our official photographer all year this year. We’re also VERY excited to announce that we’ve managed to secure Brian again as our official photographer for 2015 – woohoo!

You may have seen Brian (looking extremely fashionable thanks to Urbbana!) running around at our recent Sunshine Coast fair excitedly taking photos of all our vendor stalls, fashion parades and anything pretty or creative that took his eye. We think our Sunshine Coast Fair this year looked prettier than ever before… between the sun drenched chapel, the warm and buzzing atmosphere in the back hall and the chilled out vibes in the marquee, we pretty much had all bases covered. Our guests could mingle and enjoy the day with lots of yummy food to eat, lovely live music and pretty things to look at all around.

We have a big fat thank you we need to make to the very inspiring Simply Style Co who managed to transform the grounds into some kind of sweet magic on the day. You may have noticed the gorgeous lounge set up where our models hung out in the marquee? Or those fantastic chairs and lawn games at the fashion parade and the front of the chapel? And we’re sure you managed to get a glimpse of the very cool stall set up for Hello May… all of that (and more) came from Simply Style Co. We LOVE these guys and we’re sure you’ll love them just as much as we do… if you need a stylist for your wedding then drop them a line right now.
