Sally’s business was born out of a desire to live life on her own terms. With a passion for makeup and a background in dance and performance, she threw caution to the wind and enrolled in a six month long intensive makeup course. Now one of the Sunshine Coast’s most sought after makeup artists, Sally learned everything from period makeup of the 1920’s through to 2000’s, SPFX, bridal and airbrush makeup.

What happens when you combine an amazing bunch of creatives, the A Darling Affair team and the stunning Sunshine Coast mountains? Ummm…one of our favourite shoots ever!

A few months ago, one of our A Darling Affair dream teams put together the perfect Autumn photo shoot. The Sunshine Coast is home to some spectacular mountain walks and wanting to create something a little different, they weren’t afraid to be a tad adventurous and hike up beautiful Mt Ngungun, the ultimate backdrop for dreamy, love-filled photo’s.

Fun was the order of the day, and Babushka Ballerina provided the perfect dresses for a bride who loves a splash of adventure, The Beauty Case was (as always) on hand with stunning, on point wedding hair and makeup, amazing images were taken by the very talented Juddric Photoraphy and Rose and Heart provided a bouquet of flowers that would make Mother Nature swoon!

We love Juddric Photogaphy! Judd has been a long time supporter of A Darling Affair and we always love having him as part our wedding fair lineup!

As a kid, Judd would save up his pocket money to buy film to put in his Mum’s camera, then save up again to get the film developed. They were mainly photo’s of his cat, but you gotta start somewhere, right?! His love for photography was evident to everyone around him and eventually it got to the point where a friend asked him to do the photography for their wedding. Lucky for us, the rest is history!

A self-described non traditional wedding photographer, Judd specialises in full day wedding coverage. He’s all about letting the day unfold naturally and capturing every crazy, fun, heartfelt moment that the celebration brings.

Judd is a master at fitting in with the wedding guests and always get’s a kick out being asked how he knows the couple.  When other guests think that your wedding photographer is already a friend of the bride and groom, you know you’re on to a winner!

Hayley Belle is not your average marriage celebrant. At 30 years old, this rad mama has a full sleeve tattoo and a wild sense of humor!

Known for her vivaciousness, Hayley brings her signature spark and personal touch to every wedding. Hayley works along side each couple to create a memorable and unique wedding ceremony weaved around their relationship and lifestyle. Whether you’re planning a backyard wedding with your pets as your bridal party, in a sailor outfit on a yacht, or on a stage at a heavy metal gig…you name it, she’s game!

A newbie in the wedding world, Hayley worked in radio for 12 years and gravitated towards becoming a marriage celebrant after MCing most of her friends weddings. Her natural talent for public speaking, mixed with her love of getting to know people and hearing their stories made it easy to see that this was the perfect job for her.

The lovely Kendra Groves of Wild Child Catering has always loved creating things. Training as a baker back home in London, she fine-tuned her skills and perfected her methods to learn how to make mouthwatering treats. After immigrating to Noosa, she started missing the baking life that she loved so much and decided to create her own cake business with a twist.

Operating for 3 years now, Wild Child Catering specialise in creating 100% bespoke cakes and drool worthy dessert tables. Kendra is a master at putting together the most amazing, Instagrammable dessert spreads and is a genius at eclectic, vintage and boho chic table themes.

Kendra works closely with her clients to customise one-of-a-kind menus based on couples wants and needs. You want a pie table? She can do that! A skyscraper of Parisian macaroons? You got ! Have your heart set on a donut tower? No problem!!!

Kendra believes that everyone deserves the most magical wedding day ever, and that includes having the most magical wedding cake. She says ‘NO’ to bland and uninspiring and a big fat ‘YES’ to delicious and memorable!

Ginger and Gold started the same way all great ideas are born…over a bowl of heavily spiked Christmas party punch!

Ally and Zahra were just couple of bridal store stylists when they decided to bridge the gap they encountered all too often, finding wedding dresses that are modern, fun and ooze personality.

Whilst Ginger and Gold as a business is only a baby, Zahra and Ally have a combined total of 6 years in the bridal industry. These two darlings know a thing or two about making a woman look her best and they’re confident that their knowledge and individual flair will delight the raddest of brides.

Outfit is the key word here, as Ginger and Gold are known for more than just their dresses. They also create killer jumpsuits, dresses long and short, and mix and match separates in non traditional fabrics, so you can choose what suits you best. Not only that, the ladies even offer alterations to some of their designs, so you can really personalise your outfit until it’s the perfect ‘one’.

With a gorgeous studio located in East Brisbane, Ginger and Gold is not your average bridal label. Their designs are rich with story and full of enchantment. Each piece in their collection has been carefully designed, redesigned, prototyped, cut and sewn by Ally and Zahra themselves. So you know that every single item is made with loads of love!
