The lovely Kendra Groves of Wild Child Catering has always loved creating things. Training as a baker back home in London, she fine-tuned her skills and perfected her methods to learn how to make mouthwatering treats. After immigrating to Noosa, she started missing the baking life that she loved so much and decided to create her own cake business with a twist.

Operating for 3 years now, Wild Child Catering specialise in creating 100% bespoke cakes and drool worthy dessert tables. Kendra is a master at putting together the most amazing, Instagrammable dessert spreads and is a genius at eclectic, vintage and boho chic table themes.

Kendra works closely with her clients to customise one-of-a-kind menus based on couples wants and needs. You want a pie table? She can do that! A skyscraper of Parisian macaroons? You got ! Have your heart set on a donut tower? No problem!!!

Kendra believes that everyone deserves the most magical wedding day ever, and that includes having the most magical wedding cake. She says ‘NO’ to bland and uninspiring and a big fat ‘YES’ to delicious and memorable!

The brainchild of Brazilian chef  Samba, his experience of cooking in busy restaurants and working in the catering industry made it only natural for him to pursue his dream of having a business of his own. Together with his lovely fiance Krystal, they decided to take a leap of faith and create and business that they truly believe in.

Samba’s love for cooking is infectious. Specialising in Spanish Paella and Brazilian BBQ, his passion and talent show in his dishes and in the faces of full and happy customers.

For Gathering Events, it all started with Jen and Adam’s love for the open road, vintage caravans and old-fashioned celebrating!

Based in beautiful Brisbane, this Husband and Wife team love a good road trip and travel far and wide throughout Queensland and Northern NSW to offer a complete pop-up bar service for your event.

With Jen having over eight years of event and hospitality management and Adam being a true jack of all trades, this darling duo are accompanied by a crew of super talented and fun bar professionals.

Everybody knows that a festival ain’t a festival without amazing food trucks!

And the Brisbane Wedding Festival had some of the most mouthwatering dishes in Brisbane. From delicious ice cream, taste bud tingling Italian street food and the kind of pizza that makes you drool just thinking about it, these were just a few of the fantastic food vendors to join us.

BeniaminoBeni, Fuse and Samantha, Sammy, Cochrane get excited by many things — travel and adventure, friends, good times and great hospitality But above all, they love to eat!  The pair first met at Brisbane institute Beccofino, where both have spent considerable time honing their skills, Beni in the kitchen and Samantha as a jack-of-all trades, front-of-house extrodinaire.

Sharing a love food that is humble, simple and yet delicious, Mangia Mangia use only the best and freshest ingredients. Beni’s home town classic, Panzerotti, is a favourite – soft dough, filled with home made napoli sauce and torn, soft mozzarella, folded, fried and eaten by hand. Just the way it should be.

Seriously, who doesn’t love pizza??? Pizzantica believe that memorable occasions come from sharing a fantastic meal with your friends and family. Bringing together mouth watering restaurant style pizza and dedicated catering, the cherry on top is their funky VW Kombi Van, mounted with a ferrari-red pizza oven. Pizzantica’s food is prepared and served in the traditional napoli way by their talented Italian pizzaiolo.

The brainchild of owner/chef Luca Ferone, Pizzantica is all about quality, service and convenience. The Pizzantica Van was designed to bring customers restaurant quality Italian cuisine and service to any type of special occasion.

Their Mangia Mangia journey began when the two returned to Benis native Italy in 2014, where they ate their way around every back street and corner of his vibrant home town, Gallipoli.  Back in Brisbane, unable to leave their food adventures behind, Beni and Sammy decided to bring the traditional dishes from the south of Italy to the Australian lifestyle and serve it up with a little character.  And so, they hit the road,  flung open the window of their van and Mangia Mangia Street Goods was born.

Life is sweet when you have your own ice cream truck.

It was love at first sight when Sam and Rosanna laid eyes on an original 1973 Bedford Morrison ice cream van. Built in Southampton, England for the sole purpose of serving ice cream, they knew that it was a match made in sticky-sweet heaven. After having her freighted over from the UK, fitting her out and naming her, Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van officially launched in April 2015.

Being the only ice cream van of her kind in Queensland, and possibly in all of Australia, Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van is a unique and delightful treat that is sure to light up each and every guest. With character and personality, Ruby has been popular at post wedding ceremony intervals, engagements and at Brisbane’s top food truck gatherings.

Ruby’s vintage look and Sam’s amazing ice creams do not disappoint. Being a qualified European Pastry Cook with twenty two years experience, Sam’s love of ice cream has seen him specialise in the tasty treat for over eight years.
