We love photography here at ADA HQ. Gorgeous images matched with adorable couples with a story to tell. We got to pick the best bunch of photographers in Brisbane town to exhibit at the upcoming Brisbane Wedding Fair.
It’s like looking through a magazine – like Hello May – when you look at these photographers work. It’s just mesmerising.

Marrying his beautiful wife Dee is without a doubt one of the best decisions he has ever made. In the words of Jerry Maguire, ‘she completes me’, he says of Dee.
If you choose Shane as your wedding photographer it means you value photography that’s a little different, creative and journalistic at heart. No fake smiles or awkward poses with Shane, you just go do your thing. He believes in capturing the real story.
Shane know’s how much love, sweat and tears goes into making your wedding day special and all he wants to do is showcase that in the best way possible. Despite everything else he’s done in life – an event manager and a guitarist for a bunch of different bands – Shane can safely say photography is not only his job but his passion, too.
Cassandra Ladru is a journalistic style wedding and lifestyle photographer with a background in fashion photography and an eye for beautiful details. She has travelled the globe to capture people in love and to her there is nothing more rewarding.
To her, weddings are not just events, they’re stories of love & a coming together of family and friends in celebration.
Photography has been the main passion in Callie’s life (after wine) for about the last 7 years. Studying photography at the Queensland College of Arts and did majoring in photojournalism, Callie is also a cliche extrovert, so weddings are the perfect platform for her to mix her love for meeting new people and documentary photography. Callie’s loves are people, photos and parties, so you can’t get much better than weddings to cover all those things.
Florido Weddings provides documentary photography and videography. The videographers I work with all have a really similar style to Callie and they all have backgrounds in documentary and commercial shooting. They are all about having a good time and making things as stress free as possible.
Callie is a documentary photographer first and foremost but also has a background in commercial and fashion, so giving people direction in front of the camera is a big part of what she does. Most people want natural photos but they still get nervous in front of a camera. Creating ‘natural’ moments requires a delicate balance of direction, spontaneity and creativity, something that Callie has been practicing years to get right.
Come have a chin wag with these talented bunch this Saturday at the fair. You won’t be disappointed with their personalities and images on display.
