In a nutshell, who are you and what do you do?

We are floral stylists and creative innovators. Designing and styling incredible, heartfelt and memorable weddings and events.

What is the most unique thing you’ve seen at a wedding?

Recently we had the pleasure of creating a 3m giant mega wreath! It was friggin awesome.

If you were a colour, which colour would you be, and why?

Let’s start with intriguing indigo blue oh but I am also partial to a pop of bright red and I do love my moody charcoal greys… really do I have to just be one colour??

WILLOW BUD

In a nutshell, who are you and what do you do?

I am the owner and head designer/florist at Willow Bud, our team specialises in modern vintage, rustic and garden picked floral styling. We love to work on beautiful weddings across the Sunshine Coast using interesting flowers, berries, foliage, lace, feathers and much more. I offer a personalised service throughout the time leading up to the wedding to make sure that the floral elements are perfect and offer on site floral stying for the day. We also have a beautiful collection of vases and props to enhance the floral elements of your wedding day.

What is it about weddings that you love so much?

What gets me excited about weddings is getting to know them on a personal level. I love to design for them based on their visions for the big day. When I arrive, my bride is so excited to see her bouquet for the first time that there are happy squeels, hugs and tears! That for me is the best part, seeing a bride so excited and so happy on a really important day!

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I love to go exploring, I love to discover a new little shop or picnic location, I love to hunt for treasures form op shops and antique fairs, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter and potter around the house or in the garden.

STYLING HUE

In a nutshell, who are you and what do you do?

I’m a true creature of nature, lover of pretty.  I’m a Florist for weddings and events and Interior Stylist for renovations & new home builds.

What is the most unique thing you’ve seen at a wedding?

I recently saw a picture of 2 grandmothers doing the roll of ‘flower girls’ and walking down the isle.  They held flower posies, looked so proud and incredibly beautiful.  I thought this was a perfect start to a ceremony of love and the union of 2 important family members.

What do you do in your free time?

I do surf sports  Masters’ competition up to National level. I wake at 4.30am to train in the ocean – run, swim, ski & board training.  I also run around 3 children, lifeguard, nipper coach, and renovate a 107 year old home and have a farm.

BEARDED LADY STYLE

In a nutshell, who are you and what do you do?

We are a Fresh and Funky Brisbane based Wedding + Event  + Styling and Floristry business like no other.

We provide not just your average ‘centerpieces’ but unique floristry, styling, photography & event management for ANY wedding /event.

BLS can create anything from trendy and traditional bridal bouquets and wedding flowers, to styling out-of-the-ordinary wedding ceremonies and receptions. BLS also provide hand picked prop hire and can design and create anything from Brisbane’s up and coming Fashion Festival, to your Pretty in Vintage Wedding and even your Nana’s intermit 100th High Tea Birthday Party with whipped cream and a two cherries on-top.

What is it about weddings that you love so much?

The happiness that they draws! As well as the people from all walks of life that are brought together. From the crazy uncles to the old primary school friends, to someone that you do boot camp with every Saturday – all there in one room. Just embracing LOVE!

What do you do in your free time?
