A bride in her wedding outfit is pivotal. Game changing. A beautifully unique moment. A moment that you’ll frame and will be seen by grandkids, and they’ll say ‘my grandma had some serious style game’ … or whatever kids say by then.

It’s a moment about you, your love story and who you are. It shouldn’t feel foreign, or unfamiliar. Yes it’s generally the most incredible outfit you’ll ever wear but it’s meant to be the super glamorous version of you!

Ginger and Gold encapsulate this and their new collection Flora is no different. This collection’s aesthetic is a beautiful balance of vintage inspiration, femininity and simple sophistication. We are a little bit in love with the latest designs and somehow managed to choose three favourites from the collection, the Ivy, Daisy and Jasmine designs.

MEET IVY

The Ivy gown is both elegant and ethereal. Featuring a low back, satin slip and flocked confetti lace. The long sheer sleeves and boatneck neckline are stunningly classic and feminine.

MEET JASMINE

Beautiful classic separates with some modern wow factor. From the high collar, to the open back and then the draped confetti lace skirt, this gorgeous outfit is one show stopping feature after another. And we do kind of dream of pieces that can be worn separately after the big day as well.

MEET DAISY

A wedding jumpsuit is what wonderful, edgy, modern dreams are made of! And this gorgeous flirty design is a beautiful balance of sexy with it’s open back, and elegant with the floaty wide leg design.

Too difficult to choose a favourite, but we will certainly be taking closer looks of these beautiful pieces as they waltz down the catwalk at A Darling Affair Brisbane Fair on November 17 2018.

Photo shoot days are always our favourite and when we get to work alongside the amazing girls over at The Bride’s Tree, we can’t help but get a little bit giddy! Wanting to spotlight some of the amazing local talent that our vendors have to offer, we went for a simple and understated feel, keeping the vibe of the day fresh and easy breezy.

Draped in dreamy, elegant dresses from Georgia Young Couture, our Bride’s flawless look was put together by the talented hair and makeup artists from The Beauty Case. Khesanh and her team are Queen’s of effortless beauty and style with natural, on-point looks.

Heavenly Blooms created an amazing palette of soft romantic colours and as always, blew us away by the detail and perfection of their blooms! The lovely Anna Pugh, wedding planner and stylist from Made to Match Events worked her magic with their team to create our soft and whimsical shoot, while planning every last detail seamlessly.

And of course, our man Judd from Juddric Photography took the most gasp-worthy snaps that never cease to astound us!

Owner Melita has been directly involved with every leap and bound Boudoir Blush has encountered to date. Working in the industry for several years gaining experience, she made it a goal to run her own business. Melita is also highly sort after for her skills in the wedding and special occasions make up field, having been a finalist in the ABIA (Australian Bridal Industry Academy) awards the last two years running. FOLKLORE FANTASY – INSPIRATIONAL STYLED SHOOT

With such an enchanting setting, you can be forgiven for thinking this quaint stone chapel nestled in it’s rolling hills is something straight out of folklore.

All the right ingredients required in a pursuit of happiness start here. From the well-maintained gardens to the finer details inside the chapel, you can’t help but allow yourself to be carried afar to a time of old.

Henzell Chapel, located in Brisbane’s Moreton Bay Hinterland, can only be found by word of mouth. It has an elusiveness about it, only adding to the allure and captivation of it all, begging you to lose yourself in your imagination and to rediscover the charm of simplicity once again.

This shoot was put together by an all star cast that you can find at the Brisbane Wedding Festival in less then 3 weeks time!
