A one woman production with designer Brooke at it’s helm, Vessel and Vine specialise in tinted cement wares.  With a range that began with a simple conical leather planter and concrete pots, this blooming business has grown to include the signature cone shaped “gelato planter” as well as tinted cement planters, home wares, and jewellery. Each item is lovingly made by hand, cast, tinted and sanded to a silky smooth finish.

Allowing couples to have the option to customise their wedding favour pots, Vessel and Vine are able to tint them any colour to suit the theme and styling of your day. From soft pastels, to industrial and edgy grey, right through to on-trend marble.

This small team of bright, creative minds come with over eight years of experience between them. Ben is a self taught cinematographer and editor, Andrew has a degree in film and Bree brings the style to this dynamic trio.

Simon and Danielle are the faces behind the incredible Him and Her Events team. Wedding planning and styling extraordinaires, you’ll want to remember these names!

Him and Her Events offer a unique perspective into planning and styling. As a mixed gender team they are able to create custom built and inspired events with ease without needing to outsource.

Having been friends for several years, both having a passion for the events industry, they decided to bring their joint skills together and enter the wedding field as a team.

Danielle has a passion for all things networking and styling. Being incredibly organised and having and enthusiastic love for weddings, she began working in the industry several years ago. Ready to take the next step and to continue evolving meant teaming up with a partner who could bring the missing elements to the picture.

Simon is the tech savvy half of the pair. Having  an extensive events background spanning a decade, he has a passion for AV and technical elements. He oozes innovation and no idea is too crazy.

With their combined skills and diverse backgrounds, Him and Her are able to offer a variety of alternative services such as lighting, AV, prop hire and MC services. Planning and building since April 2015, and getting into the swing of things in the following months, this darling duo have been busy, busy, busy!

We are so excited for our lovely Darling guests to experience A Darling Affair’s 2016 hosting venue – The Brisbane Racing Club.

We fell it love with it’s old school charm and it’s nooks and crannies. You will discover something new around every corner and it’s exactly what we look for when we hunt out venues to hold our events. A good blank canvas ready and waiting to be filled with wonderful wedding suppliers and inspirational creations.

Jacqueline Moore is the lovely lady behind the scenes when it comes to booking your wedding at the Brisbane Racing Club. Jacqueline is lovely, down to earth, quick and efficient, thinks outside the box, on top of current trends and is up for a creative challenge.

With different indoor and outdoor locations to choose from at the Brisbane Racing Club you can have your ceremony, photo’s, sit down reception and night time festivities all in the one place.

The Tote Room is a popular favourite to hold a reception. It is a long hall like room with polished floor boards and gorgeous bridal room for the bridal party to have a rest in and touch up the make up in a divine full length mirror. A bar is located at the other end with room enough for your guests to kick up their heels and dance the night away.

Ceremony locations where do we start? Pick your spot! The Racing Club is open to suggestions when you tour onsite but our favourite is under the glorious ST Leger Figtree.
