After traveling abroad together, besties Demi and Emily returned to Brisbane with the determination to fulfill a crazy dream that they both shared. With backgrounds in Visual Merchandising and PR/Marketing, they decided to put their heads together and start Harper Arrow, a bespoke events business that could cater to any number of guests.

Just shy of it’s first birthday, Harper Arrow offer a range of styling packages that can be individually tailored to ensure your event is a seamless affair. Based in Brisbane, they can accommodate for all types of occasions, anywhere between the Sunshine Coast and Byron Bay. With their combined skills and diverse backgrounds, Him and Her are able to offer a variety of alternative services such as lighting, AV, prop hire and MC services. Planning and building since April 2015, and getting into the swing of things in the following months, this darling duo have been busy, busy, busy!

Created after a frustrating search of trying to find unique items for their own wedding, the couple behind Hodgepodge Hire decided to take matters into their own hands.

Entering the wedding industry over three years ago, Hodgepodge Hire is a vintage furniture, tableware and props hire business based in Brisbane. With interesting pieces and loads of options, they supply those hard to find, individually selected items for your event. They can help supply items for your photo shoot, wedding, engagement party…. Having already done the leg work by scouring flea markets and vintage shops, this Husband and Wife team are able to bring you a hodgepodge selection of beautiful vintage items. Him and Her Events offer a unique perspective into planning and styling. As a mixed gender team they are able to create custom built and inspired events with ease without needing to outsource.

Having been friends for several years, both having a passion for the events industry, they decided to bring their joint skills together and enter the wedding field as a team.

Danielle has a passion for all things networking and styling. Being incredibly organised and having and enthusiastic love for weddings, she began working in the industry several years ago. Ready to take the next step and to continue evolving meant teaming up with a partner who could bring the missing elements to the picture.

Simon is the tech savvy half of the pair. Having an extensive events background spanning a decade, he has a passion for AV and technical elements. He oozes innovation and no idea is too crazy.

You’re hearing straight from the horses mouth. We have been keeping this under wraps for some time now and we are excited to announce our new Brisbane venue to kick off 2016!

The Brisbane Racing Club is a unique venue that has our hearts racing with delight. With it’s fantastic history and character the venue is opening it’s doors to loved up couples tying the knot.

A Darling Affair will be filling the venue to the brim with the most creative, friendly and jaw dropping displays put on by our Darling vendors. Our festivals are full of life, colour, fashion, live music, fun and flavours.

We are also excited to be teaming up with some incredible sponsors who will be bringing out the big guns to make this event pop!

The Beauty Case will be heading up the fashion department and looking after the interests of all our style savvy brides-to-be. You will be inspired by some stunning fashion parades and a visit to the Brisbane Racing Club’s Bridal Lounge to try on some designer wedding gowns.

Moreton Hire is bringing one of their huge marquee’s that will be packed with some insanely talented wedding vendors. You will experience their grand marquee onsite – not just in a brochure. It’s all about the ‘experience’ when you come to A Darling Affair.

The amazing team behind AVIdeas is going to deck out the fashion parade area for your viewing pleasure with a stunning display and they will be going gangbusters with their incredible lights through out the outdoor areas as the sun goes down and the night life starts.

It will be our biggest wedding festival to date. Your not going to want to miss this, with more big announcements to come so stay glued to your screens.
