Our Darling Sponsor – The Bride’s Tree

What can we say about The Bride’s Tree that won’t make us sound like stalkers?! Sally and Jenny are the dreamers behind this well-loved website and it’s safe to say that we love having them as one of our sponsors!

Sally was working as a makeup artist when she noticed brides consistently talking about how much they wished there was more information for Sunshine Coast weddings. It struck her – BAM! She needed to create an online magazine that came out quarterly, a blog with new content released every week, and a fully comprehensive directory to create everything you would need for a spectacular Sunny Coast wedding.

Jenny and her fiance were living in Scotland while trying to plan a wedding back home in Australia, but being on the other side of the globe made it hard to plan their big day.  Jenny wanted to know every last vendor and venue available for their homegrown wedding so the couple could make an informed decision and choose the best local businesses that suited their individual style. There had to be a better way.

From a spark of an idea, The Bride’s Tree is now a leading free resource for couples to find everything they need when planning a Sunshine Coast wedding. Alongside their popular blog, the girls have an online magazine launched quarterly and their online shop is going gangbusters! They’ve even taken the time to research all of the best spots for your special day and have created their own comprehensive e-book “Sunshine Coast’s Best Wedding Venues”. This e-book has made finding the perfect venue so easy for couples during the planning process, it’s a life-changer!

Come and say hi to The Bride’s Tree team at the Sunshine Coast Wedding Fair on Saturday and head to their website or Facebook page for more inspiration.

Hide and Rose

The Hide and Rose story began after one sentimental bride’s hunt for a unique wedding cover-up. Wanting and items that would reflect her own sense of style. Something classic, yet edgy. Elegant, but bold. The look of eternally chic leather over her beautiful lace gown made her absolutely swoon and she knew that she was onto something good.

Hide and Rose delivers a splash of colour, beauty and artistic style to create a treasured piece of wearable art for your wedding day and the years to come. Their team of skilled artist’s paint each leather or faux leather jacket by hand with a Hide and Rose design specially customised to incorporate the bride’s personalised sentiment, whether it’s a wedding date, new last name or favourite quote…the possibilities are endless.

The only business of it’s kind in Australia, not only are Hide and Rose helping to create memories and support talented local artists, they have also partnered up with Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre, with $10 of every product sold donated to help towards the prevention and elimination of domestic violence towards women and children.

Women helping women, that’s what it’s all about! Be sure to come and support the girls from Hide and Rose at the Sunshine Coast Wedding Fair this Saturday and head to their website or Facebook page for more information on their stunning jackets.

Little Duck Calligraphy

Get ready to feel inspired!

Little Duck Calligraphy grew from the love for the art of calligraphy that artist Tess found when she was planning her own wedding. As a self-confessed history nerd and bookworm, she found herself in awe of the gorgeous script seen in old love letters and notes from generations past and knew that she wanted those timeless touches as part of her own day. This started a sweeping love affair with calligraphy and Tess soon dedicated herself to learning and growing her skills and quickly expanded to include sketching and watercolour paint.

Tess is highly sought after for creative collaboration both in Australia and internationally and has been featured in magazines across the globe. Brides and grooms turn to Little Duck Calligraphy because of Tess’s focus behind creating their stationery and the emphasis that she puts on making them the centre of the creative process.  She works together in a partnership with each and every client to create the wedding stationery of their dreams, from save the dates to thank you notes and everything in between.

Tess will be at the Sunshine Coast Wedding Fair sharing some of her jaw-dropping work and answering any burning questions that you may have for her, so be sure to grab your tickets now! To see more from Little Duck Calligraphy, you can find Tess on Facebook or visit her website.
