In a nut shell, who are you and what do you do?

We are Brian (Woody) and Linda. We have some really awesome cars we have restored to run as limousines for weddings and formals.

What is it that you love so much about weddings?

We are so lucky! We get to hang out with the bride and groom before the biggest moment in their relationship. In the minutes leading up to the bride getting out of the car it’s a really special time. Some keep chatting to calm their nerves and others like to have one of “their” songs played.

What is the most unique thing you’ve seen at a wedding?

For our own wedding we had a donut cake!

Tell us about your groovy wheels…

Our beautifully restored Kombi’s ‘Something Blue’ and ‘Vintage Red’ are licensed Queensland limousines. Both Kombi’s have seating for up to 8 guests. We offer a personal service which embraces the relaxed fun loving feeling travelling in a VW Kombi evokes.

What was the most memorable wedding party you’ve driven around?

A couple booked both of our kombi’s together for a whole day wedding celebration.There was the arrival to the traditional ceremony location, then the couple and the bridal party jumped back in our kombi’s to a have a catered picnic lunch on the grass beside a skate park. The afternoon was spent cruising to various photo locations, rustic wooden bus shelters, cane fields with time to stop off at Yandina Hotel for the classic aussie pub shots with a cold ale or two!

Just as the sun was setting the kombi’s arrived at a hinterland property with breath taking coastal views where they continued their wedding celebration under a marquee long into the night with family and friends.

What do you do in your spare time?

We both love the outdoors and find a special connection to the sea, so most of our spare time is spent in or near the ocean.
